The spiritual
movement is a growing one, yet of course spirituality has been
a movement since the dawn of time.
It is
impossible to define spirituality in any clear way. This is because
spirituality is something that is always evolving.
Spirituality is the very essence
of unification, of
encompassment, of total
acceptance. This means, whatever
your beliefs, whatever your
faith, is accepted by
"spirituality".
We each have a belief - a
framework of our reality
influenced by our perceptions,
opinions, judgements and
theories on the world. Never in
the history of the planet have
there ever been two individuals
who have had exactly the same
beliefs. This is because we each
have unique experiences that
define our perceptions, our
beliefs - and these create our
individual reality and
experience. Spirituality
recognises this.
There are no rules to
spirituality, there is no
doctrine for spirituality is
constantly progressing as we
discover more. Spirituality
recognises that we do not have
all the answers and there is no
fear in that, instead there is
excitement that there is more to
learn and discover.
The
Self. It is the ultimate treasure house of information, wisdom and
discovery. The Voyage within is a journey of monumental
significance, one that is infinitely rewarding.
Spirituality, by essence, is the study of the Self. The exploration
of one's consciousness. It is the quest for meaning and
understanding, leading to greater awareness - which itself leads to
wisdom, joy and total empowerment.
Spirit is the name given for the consciousness that resides within
you, however in truth no name can ever be fitting for the Grand
Source within.
Ultimately, spirituality recognises that everything in our lives is
determined by what is happening within. By becoming at peace with
ourselves, we reflect that peace in our outer lives. This
empowerment also brings huge discoveries about our inherent nature,
what we can accomplish, achieve and are truly capable of.
Below
are a few spiritual aspects that can offer a foundation to explore spirituality on a
deeper level.
There are of course countless variations of spirituality
ranging from traditional faith religions to abstract conceptual
spirituality. However, one thing is primary - acceptance of all
beliefs as sacred to their owner.

misunderstood. We have been conditioned so much to look externally
that our initial reaction upon hearing this is that it is a selfish
