LIGHTWORKER - SHINE THAT LIGHT
From the
corporations that you purchase your soft drinks from to the oil
companies that you fill your petrol tanks with - how has your
product come to you? These products are a result of corporate
activity both home and abroad - utilising economic, political and
social influences to bring those products to you. Are others
suffering to ensure you are offered the cheapest product? What is
the price of luxury?
What about the
political affairs of the planet? We may feel that they are out of
our control or they are events that should only be handled by those
in power, who have the power to make changes. However, remember that
all people in power are people just like you - the only difference
is that they were elected by people like you to represent people
like you. What makes them better to make decisions than you?
More importantly, are they making decisions that reflect a policy of
peace, harmony and resolution to war? Or are they involved in their
own personal battles of egos, revenge and hatred?
It is easy
to sit back and blame what we see before us - but this is a
reflection of our conditioning and above all else our belief that
all power resides with those who are making the "big" decisions. In
truth, all decisions are made along the way - and this is where
individual power resides. All governments stand on the shoulders of
its people - if those people move or shift then the government has
to shift also. The biggest illusion of twentieth century democracy
is that governments have more power than the people. This illusion,
confirmed by the apathy of voters and non-voters, have allowed
governments free reign.
Living in a
free society means that you are free to do as you wish. You are free
to create change. You are free to challenge injustices that you see
occurring - both home and abroad, for you realise you are
responsible for all that occurs before you. The Western world
harbours an imbalance of power in the world at this time - from
economics to politics, power is concentrated in the West. However,
what does this really mean? It is not Western governments that hold
this power, it is the people! It is You. You have the power to
create charities that can help thousands across the world, you have
the power to lobby politicians to change policy that affects
millions across the world, you have the power to change your
leaders.
But what is the "West" but an ideology,
simply more segregation and
categorisation. In truth, all people
have the same equal power despite the
type of society they live in. Some have
more difficult paths if their freedoms
have been removed. However, there are
always ways to uphold the Light. A
Lightworker serves the Light and stands
fast in the truth of his or her own
power, truth. A Warrior of Love knows
the path can be very difficult but he or
she holds the Light - both for
themselves and for others, radiating
that
Light for others in the storm to steer
their ships towards safety, comfort
and Love. Warriors of Love exist in
every
country, disguised as a particular
creed, colour or nationality. Deep down,
these Warriors know that all religions,
cultures, creeds, colours are simply
wonderful flavours of the same sacred
force.
It is time to
take responsibility for the suffering of all people and realise we
constantly have the power to make changes in the world - this is our
responsibility, to act or not to act. This is not blame.
Responsibility and blame are very
different. Blame claims one person is at
fault and another is not. We are not
blaming ourselves for the suffering in
the world, instead we are taking
responsibility - taking our power back
to recognise that we can each make a
crucial difference. It is time to ask yourself
what do you want to see in the world? Do you want suffering, hatred,
segregation and destruction to continue or do you want to see
genuine peace, harmony, progression, advancement, unity and creation.?
The power is within you, it always has
been.
